About the Principal

Mark Waxler, former Vice President and General Manager of the Beechwood Hotel, has been in the hospitality industry for 40 years. He started at the Front Desk of the Watergate Hotel and has worked for Hyatt Hotels, Doubletree Hotels and Marriott Hotels in various management positions before joining the Beechwood Hotel. During his tenure as Vice President and General Manager for eighteen years, he has upgraded the property to the only AAA Four Diamond Hotel in Massachusetts. Mark was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MA Lodging Association, President of the New England Inns and Resorts, and is currently the Destination Worcester Board of Directors, Chairman of the Hospitality Advisory Committee for Worcester Vocational High School, Program Advisory Member to help develop Massachusetts Vocational Technical Educational Framework for hospitality management and Board of Directors Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
